deadlines

Pre-registration and pre-payment by 4 April 2024 are required. Registrations will not be accepted after 4 April. To qualify for the Early Bird rate, full payment must be received by 24 January 2024.

refunds

Registration fees can be refunded with a written request received by 4 April 2024; a US$125 processing fee will be retained. After 4 April, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no shows.

(MORE) FINE PRINT.   All conference participants, including session chairs, invited speakers, organizers, exhibitors, and presenters, are required to register for the conference at the posted rates. IAIA does not have funds available to pay registration and/or travel expenses for participants. Payment of all fees by 4 April 2024 is required to participate in this event; cash payments and registrations on-site will not be accepted. Cancellation requests received by 4 April 2024 can receive a refund less a US$125 processing fee. Refunds are typically processed after the conference; the refunded amount may differ depending on exchange rates. After 4 April 2024, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no shows. However, substitutions may be made without financial penalty. 

VIDEO/AUDIO POLICIES.   Individuals officially identified by IAIA may photograph, videotape, and/or audiotape conference events. By attending the conference, you agree to allow your image to be used by IAIA. Individuals are not permitted to record with personal equipment such as cell phones, cameras, or recorders without prior permission from IAIA and the speaker/presenter. 

TOURISM SURVEY. Fáilte Ireland (National Tourism Development Authority of Ireland) may have representatives on-site at IAIA24, seeking permission to send event participants a follow-up survey relating to tourism in Ireland. All delegates are encouraged to participate if approached. Because state funding is being provided for IAIA24, IAIA is required to give Fáilte Ireland the first name, last name, country, and email address of all registered delegates for verification of attendance after the event; no other personal information will be shared, and both Fáilte Ireland and IAIA comply with all GDPR data privacy rules.
